Have you perfected your backhand swing yet? It's time to get to practicing your serve because the US Open is once again taking over the courts at the USTA Billy Jean King National Tennis Center in New York. Before the US Open courts are in full swing from August 25th - September 8th, families and fans look forward to enjoying the free Grounds Festival and the affordable tickets for performances on the Hess Express Stage and in the Arthur Ashe Stadium during Arthur Ashe Kids' Day (AAKD)

AAKD is a day filled with entertaining tennis activities, and awesome musical performances for whole family to enjoy together. Having attended AAKD in the past with my family, we look forward to participating in interactive tennis games alongside the pros, rocking out with energetic musical entertainment from some of the coolest artists and getting involved in grounds activities sharing the health and fitness benefits of tennis. The purpose of the day of events held during AAKD is to honor the legacy of tennis legend and exemplary humanitarian, Arthur Ashe. The event's proceeds from Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day will be utilized to benefit the US Tennis Association (USTA) Foundation which helps to fund the National Junior Tennis & Learning Network (NJTL), a national group of more than 600 nonprofit youth development organizations that generously offer free or low-cost tennis, education and life-skills programs to more than 325,000 children each year.

The schedule of events and performances for the 2014 Arthur Ashe Kids' Day Stadium Show will be hosted by China Anne McClain and Jeff Sutphen in the Arthur Ashe Stadium. The line up includes music performances from Hunter Hayes, MKTO, The Vamps, Shawn Mendes, McClain, Madison Beer, DJ Salerno, Shaun T, Serena Williams, Novac Djokovic and Victoria Azurenka. The Hess Stage Stage line up will also feature Hollywood Endings, Kalin and Myles, Zach Matari, Karina Rae and The Bomb Digz.
