Songs of Glory for Unsung Hero

Award-Winning New York Entertainment Sightseeing Tour Experience THE RIDE

We honestly could not stop laughing. From the time we sat down, looking for our seatbelts until the final jazz hands salute to The Big Apple, we laughed, danced and stared in utter Only in New York amazement.  Not the eye-rolling, sarcasm-spoken here type of Only in New York amazement, it was the unexpected, truly wonderful, New York magic that makes it all more than worthwhile.

Thank you to THE RIDE for complimentary tickets to Experience the Ride as a US Family Guide Moms Connect Ambassador for the purpose of facilitating this review.

Let's begin with an observation that I made as we planned to visit THE RIDE. The majority of the publicity photos advertising this attraction were not picture perfect, dazzling in the sunlight photo ops, but rather NYC night scenes. My immediate decision, we were going to take a night tour and I highly recommend the same for your tour. I am certain that the daytime tours will deliver everything that we enjoyed in the evening, with the exeption of seeing the city completely aglow in all its glory with bright lights everywhere.

What exactly is THE RIDE? Technically speaking, it's a multi-million dollar motorcoach tour bus equipped with unique stadium seating, full length panoramic windows, state-of-the-art audio-visual technology, including 40 spectacular plasma screen TVs and over 3,000 dazzling LED lights. THE RIDE features the sights and scenes of New York City and some of its world renowned landmarks as the stage for an incredibly well-coordinated, interactive, theatrical tour performance that will outperform any other sightseeing tour.

Our family was totally intrigued prior to boarding THE RIDE. In our travels out and about the city, we have seen the tours of THE RIDE and THE TOUR rolling down the streets of Manhattan, we even waved at the friendly people on board as they passed by Bryant Park. Honestly, I was extremely curious as to what exactly we would experience. I imagined a sort of 4D experience comparable to a Disney attraction, taking place aboard a bus on the streets of New York. I leave you with this, as a not-so-jaded New Yorker, married to a jaded New Yorker, we honestly could not stop laughing. Definitely an entertaining tour that all will enjoy and guaranteed to never be the same experience twice.
