Try This DIY! Homemade Honey Lime Ginger Ale Recipe

Would you like a handshake, hug or high-five? Yes, thank you! I will take them all! (Can you tell I was a teacher?) It truly gives me great pleasure to share my most recent "Try This DIY" creation. It's a goodie, too.  It is with extreme honesty that I admit, I have very limited abilities in the culinary arts. Well, there's no if you can boil water, then you can "Try This DIY" recipe. Here's how you can make your own Homemade Honey Lime Ginger Ale. 



Homemade Honey Lime Ginger Ale Recipe



Ingredients


2 Cups of Water
1 Cup of Chopped Fresh Ginger
1 Tbsp Honey
32 Oz Seltzer
2 Tbsp Lime Juice
4 Lime Slices


🌟 Bring the fresh ginger, honey and water to a boil.

🌟 Reduce heat to simmer for about 10 minutes or until reduced to about 3/4 cup. 

🌟 Allow to cool for approximately 10 minutes. 

🌟 Strain the mixture into a pitcher or carafe. 

🌟 Pour in the seltzer and lime juice. 

🌟 Serve over ice, garnished with lime slices. 

Thrilling was the moment when I simply found fresh ginger in our supermarket. Baby steps matter, there is a first time for everything. After happy dancing over this major accomplishment, I was ready for the world. This is without a doubt, a beginner level "Try This DIY", however it's a winner none the less.
