What You Need to Know Before You Go Disney Vacation Planning

Disney’s theme park guidelines are routinely reviewed and updated based upon current safety and security industry trends. It's important for Disney guests to be aware of the fact that designated smoking areas will not be made available inside Walt Disney World and Disneyland theme parks. For convenience, there will be specific smoking areas located outside of entrances to the parks and select Disney properties for cigarettes, e-cigarettes, and vaping.

Disney has also updated restrictions placed upon the size of strollers allowed inside of the parks. According to most recent Disney policy updates, maximum stroller width allowed has been reduced from 36 inches to 31 inches, with the length of 51 inches remaining unchanged. Families will no longer be allowed to enter Disney theme parks with child stroller wagons, as a means of maintaining less obstructed guest traffic flow. Guests will have the convenience option of renting strollers at Disney theme parks based upon availability.

While there may be days where temperatures rise beyond comfort levels for most, Disney will no longer allow guests to bring loose ice or dry ice into parks, while frozen reusable ice packs will be permitted. With the average guest estimated to spend approximately 12 hours enjoying Disney theme parks each day, take a look at updated guidelines to know before you go to Walt Disney World and Disneyland.
