FLCL: Progressive and FLCL: Alternative Bring Anime Home
Our family always enjoys watching bonus features and FLCL:Progressive & Alternative Combo Pack includes a 15-minute never-before-seen documentary. Taking viewers behind-the-scenes into the making of both FLCL seasons, featuring exclusive interviews with voice talent and crew, a “Meet the Creators” feature, a segment about “The Pillows” relationship within the series, and an inside view into the production of FLCL: Alternative.

Let's take it back to the beginning, in 2001 the original FLCL launched the saga, FLCL: Progressive tells the story of 14-year-old Hidomi and her classmate, Ide, with war continuing between Medical Mechanica and Fraternity. Now taking the form of their teacher, Haruko Haruhara returns with another otherworldly being, Jinyu, a gorgeous Chrysler Bel Aire and her trusted, yellow Vespa.

FLCL: Alternative is the third and final season sharing the misadventures of 17-year-old Kana and her friends, Mossan, Hijiri, and Pets. Enjoying a seemingly normal life, everything changes when Mecha falls down from the sky, arriving with Haruko Haruhara and her guitar. Taking a stand against Medical Mechanica, Haruko helps to kickstart Kana's N.O. channel before the relentless iron takes control over the entire world.

“During its twelve-week run on Adult Swim’s Toonami, FLCL was #1 in its time slot, and garnered a huge fan following,” said Mary Ellen Thomas, WBHE, Senior Vice President, Originals, Animation and Family. “We think both the fans
and newcomers are going to love the Combo Pack with it exciting behind the scenes extra content, in addition to the final 12 highly anticipated episodes from the fanatical series."
