The rhyme and reason of Terry Treetop and the Lost Egg written by author Tali Carmi, makes for a simply wonderful story of a helpful boy learning about the animals he encounters. Terry tries to find the mother that has mysteriously lost an egg. Each animal that Terry meets shares how it cares for its young. The journey which is brightly illustrated by Mindy Liang, throughout the story proves to be educational and fun for both Terry and readers as well. My toddler and I enjoyed the easy rhymes and colorful drawings combined with the basic lessons from the animal friends along the was in Terry Treetop and the Lost Egg.
