Featured Children's Book Review: Terry Treetop and the Lost Egg

How many questions would you imagine that the average 5 year-old asks in a day? Kids and curiosity go hand in hand. The natural tendency of a child to want to know more about the world around us is amazing to witness. Terry Treetop is just that inquisitive kid. Terry's lively adventures help both him and young learners to gain a better understanding of animal habitats and the environment.

The rhyme and reason of Terry Treetop and the Lost Egg written by author Tali Carmi, makes for a simply wonderful story of a helpful boy learning about the animals he encounters as he tries to find the mother that has lost an egg. Each animal that Terry meets shares how y it cares for its young. The journey which is brightly illustrated by Mindy Liang, throughout the story proves to be educational and fun for both  Terry and readers as well. My toddler and I enjoyed the easy rhymes and colorful drawings combined with the basic lessons from the animal friends along the was in Terry Treetop and the Lost Egg.
