Say #HeyWorld in Support of Girl Empowerment
with GapKids x ED
In a strategic power move, Gap recently partnered with philanthropic celeb, Ellen DeGeneres and her lifestyle brand company, ED to design an exclusive collection of clothing for Gap Kids. Having launched the debut line for Fall 2015 season, look forward to seeing the Spring 2016 line available online and in-stores, launching in early April.
The Gap and Ellen DeGeneres have developed a power couple collection and campaign focused on empowering girls to feel pride for all of "the very things that make them different". Breaking the mold and feeling free to live life on their terms, girls are being encouraged to be exactly who they are as individuals. Here's how we as supporters can spotlight a little bit of social media shine on all of the outstanding achievements of girls everywhere.
By using the hashtag #heyworld, followed by the name and accomplishments of an exemplary young lady, friends, parents, family members, or mentors can issue a call to action for social messages of encouragement and love to any girl in need of positive support. Channeling the collective voice and energy to support her ambitions through the synergy of positive affirmations.
