I was invited to attend the 23rd Annual Skate With The Greats fundraising event as media for the purpose of facilitating this informative promotional content.
The magical wish of having the opportunity to spend a special moment to Skate With The Greats became reality for families staying at Ronald McDonald House New York this past winter, and sponsoring supporters. Ronald McDonald, himself was present as special fans were given the magic of enjoying that moment with the New York Rangers and the Garden of Dreams Foundation.

New York Rangers participation in Skate With The Greats is made possible through a partnership with the Garden of Dreams Foundation, a non-profit charity working closely with the Rangers and The Madison Square Garden Company to "make dreams come true for children facing obstacles." For the sixth year in a row, RBC Capital Markets stands as the primary sponsor, including sponsorship from Garden of Dreams Foundation, Bloomberg, Zurich North America, PwC, Mutual of America, American International Group, Steven J. Bensinger, and Federal Farm Credit Banks Funding Corporation.
“It’s an honor to sponsor Skate with the Greats for a seventh consecutive year,” commented Bobby Grubert, managing director at RBC Capital Markets. “This event helps Ronald McDonald House New York continue its incredible work in providing a temporary “home away from home” for pediatric cancer patients and their families. Thank you to everyone who attended and supported this important cause.”
“Skate with the Greats has become our traditional kick-off event to start the year and each year, the excitement builds for the next one,” said Richard Martin, director of development and acting COO of Ronald McDonald House New York. “We love the extra special element Rangers fans add to the already generous, giving spirit of the event.”
You can be a gift to children undergoing cancer treatments and their families. Visit the Ronald McDonald House New York website for donation information and additional details about their support to families in need.
