The magical wish of having the opportunity to spend a special moment to Skate With The Greats became reality for families staying at Ronald McDonald House New York this past winter, and sponsoring supporters. Ronald McDonald, himself was present as special fans were given the magic of enjoying that moment with the New York Rangers and the Garden of Dreams Foundation

Setting the scene for a magical event, NYC's iconic, The Rink at Rockefeller Center hosted the highly anticipated, 23rd annual Skate with the Greats, an annual fundraising charity event benefiting Ronald McDonald House New YorkThe NHL’s legendary New York Rangers hit the ice with fans and families to raise millions of dollars to help to fund the home-away-from-home for families staying in New York City while their children undergo medical treatments for cancer.

New York Rangers participation in Skate With The Greats is made possible through a partnership with the Garden of Dreams Foundation, a non-profit charity working closely with the Rangers and The Madison Square Garden Company to "make dreams come true for children facing obstacles." For the sixth year in a row, RBC Capital Markets stands as the primary sponsor, including sponsorship from Garden of Dreams Foundation, Bloomberg, Zurich North America, PwC, Mutual of America, American International Group, Steven J. Bensinger, and Federal Farm Credit Banks Funding Corporation.

“It’s an honor to sponsor Skate with the Greats for a seventh consecutive year,” commented Bobby Grubert, managing director at RBC Capital Markets. “This event helps Ronald McDonald House New York continue its incredible work in providing a temporary “home away from home” for pediatric cancer patients and their families.
