Featured Review | All Natural Smartfood Selects
The flavors all sound healthy, I was curious to know if the Smartfood Selects would also taste good to the eclectic taste buds of my family. Can a snack that is Kosher with no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives, 0 grams of Trans Fat and no MSG become a family favorite? Challenge accepted.
First to arrive home and hungry was my teen-aged "Mommy Delegate", knowing that almost anything with cheese is a winner with her, I offered the Feta Herb Hummus Pop Chips. "Have I ever had hummus?" she asked, skeptical of the health food reputation of hummus. Yes, you liked it, I fibbed. That fib was justified because not only did she like the Pop Chips, my 19-month-old "Baby Determination" had to have a chip and he liked them too!
When 10-year-old "Dr. Dreams" bounced off the school bus, the Garlic Tomato Basil Hummus Pop Chips were awaiting his arrival. I can't honestly say that he actually read, looked at or even cared what the bag said. It was snack time! After tasting the chips, he then looked to see what he was actually eating and offered the bag to his sister, "These are good, try them", he said as he wiped his hands on his clothing. Three down, one taste tester to go- Daddy's home.
The Buffalo Cheddar Popcorn had daddy written all over it, and I didn't need to read the ingredients to see the match made in Heaven. Spicy, say no more. The product description on the label reads as follows, "This zesty flavor combination is inspired by spicy buffalo wing sauce, cooled by cheddar cheese. It's made even more delicious with hints of cayenne pepper, vinegar, paprika, garlic, and onion." Another satisfied customer, we all finished the bag of popcorn and picked up two more bags while at the supermarket. While "My 3Ds" and myself enjoyed the popcorn, we can only eat a little at a time, the Smartfood Selects are flavorful and well-seasoned. Daddy took a bag of the Buffalo Cheddar popcorn to work to share with his co-workers and has started a snacking trend. The All Natural Smartfood Selects stood up to the challenge of this family of healthy, yet finicky eaters.
