Five Question Friday 3/15/13

1. What is one thing you wish you did not have to teach your children?

I wish I didn't have to teach my children how to cook. Well, I haven't actually started teaching them how to cook anything yet, so there's really no need to wish that. My cooking skills equate to basic survival techniques - coffee, tea , hot chocolate, hot cereal, toast, grilled cheese, pasta and boneless meat.  I also am a creatively talented box baker. I have instilled in my children all of the culinary know-how that I have acquired in life and the Food Network will never lead them astray.

2. What are you going to use since Google Reader is going away?

Maybe I could use my hair brush. I know that I have one...

3. British comedy; Hilarious or strange?

My two favorite words from across the pond are perfect to describe British comedy- I find it rather "cheeky" and perhaps a tad "wonky".  It's a toss up for me so how about saying British comedy is hilariously strange and at times it can be strangely hilarious. Now Japanese comedy, that's just wacky! lol

4. Do you prefer card games or board games?

I prefer board games. We have about four bid storage totes filled with board games.  Woe, to the person that fails to count each and every playing piece, card and instruction sheet when packing up the board games.  Straight to the torture chamber aka lost sock vortex.

5. Will winter ever end?

On the calendar, yes. On the thermometer, no.  Uggs, Snuggie, fireplace, repeat. Uggs, Snuggie, fireplace, repeat. Add fingerless texting gloves/mittens as needed. Womp, Womp.
