Featured Review: KidSwitch Light Switch Extender
I was initially concerned about whether I was actually qualified to install the KidSwitch because it does require the circuit breaker being turned off. However, I grabbed my flashlight (and a hoodie to protect me from the spiders) and delved into the recesses of our basement to address the circuit breaker situation. After the major accomplishment of powering down the playroom, I easily followed the product instructions and was pleased to find that it was a very simple installation process. In less than 15 minutes, I had successfully completed installation and was quite proud of my accomplishment.
The KidSwitch Light Switch Extender is an award-winning product and an ingenious solution to a universal dilemma. My husband and I were frequently the "lightbearers" as our toddler toddled about from room to room, the KidSwitch fosters independence and eliminates the need for an adult to turn lights on as we enter a new room. We are also saving money as we no longer need to leave the lights on in rooms that are not being occupied. Our home became a safer place for son and we are very satisfied with his increasing autonomy.
The KidSwitch story is "KidSwitch was created, developed, and brought to you by the father of a sweet and adventurous two year old little girl, named Taylor. After suffering a slight injury due to a fall from a makeshift "ladder" that she had created in order to reach and turn on her light switch, Taylor's dad set out to find a better way to help her turn on her room light. With that, KidSwtich was created. Since 1995, Kidswitch has been providing a helping hand to little ones and their parents!"
