Invite The Magic of The Elf on the Shelf: A Birthday Tradition

Do you just adore the look of birthday happiness on that little face as much as I do?  Thank goodness I am a mom-in-the-know! We were granted a 24 hour visit from our scout elf Dilly Dally, flying to our home all the way from the North Pole. Here is how to invite the magic of The Elf on the Shelf: A Birthday Tradition and a special announcement from the North Pole.

Thank you to The Elf on The Shelf and The Niche Parent Network for sponsoring this article.

With the utmost of urgency, we sent a special request elf invitation to Santa asking for The Elf on the Shelf to be allowed to come visit to help us celebrate our birthday boy, Busy's birthday.  Did the Elf Birthday Tradition sneak up and surprise you too? Have no fear, I am hear to inform and educate the families of the world as to proper Elf Birthday Tradition etiquette, as per the Big Guy himself- Santa!

Let's start with the good news- "Santa loves birthdays too!" Today is the perfect day for you to join our family on Santa's Special Birthday Greeting Sign Up List.  The elves will add your names to Santa's calendar so that you will receive a birthday greeting  from the North Pole.  If you haven't had the chance to adopt a scout elf into your family, there's still time. Find an Adoption Center close to you and be sure to have your family's elf register to join Santa's Elf Registry to receive your personalized Adoption Certificate and your very own letter from Santa.

Now that your family has adopted and named your scout elf, it's time to Invite Your Elf to spend a magical visit and celebrate your birthday, with Santa's permission- of course. The next step is to prepare for your child's big day by reading the official, The Elf on the Shelf: A Birthday Tradition story book to start the birthday magic.

After getting the nod of approval from Santa for your elf to visit, let the Birthday Countdown begin!  Similar to an Advent Calendar, the 28 cupcakes can be filled with surprises or simply be used to keep count of the days until the big Birthday Day. Even more amazing, the calendar is reversible and features The Birthday Game on the other side with a brightly colored blindfold for kids to have fun placing their candle atop the giant cupcake. As your child eagerly awaits a visit from your scout elf dressed for the occasion in its very own special The Elf on the Shelf Claus Couture Birthday Collection outfit (included with Book Boxed Set), there is one more task to uphold the tradition.  Birthdays are for giving and by purchasing The Elf on the Shelf: A Birthday Tradition, a donation of $1.00 will be made to charity:water to help to give clean drinking water to those in need worldwide.

The Elf on the Shelf: A Birthday Tradition is not complete until the scout elf has created a customized chair for the birthday boy or girl to cherish. Santa encourages each and every scout elf to be creative, be whimsical, be magical! The Birthday Chair Decoration Kit is such a well-designed, high quality assortment of materials, created to thrill and delight over and over again each year. Santa's masterminds put much thought and consideration into The Elf on the Shelf and all of the amazing goodies available in Santa's Store
