5 DIY #QuickTwist Hairstyles to Take Your Style from Go-To to Glam

What's your go-to hairstyle? I'm all about the wash-and-go, curly girl style. This is my go-to style for the summer and I experiment with various curly girl hairstyle techniques. During the colder weather, sporting a wash and go is not even an option. Cue the blow dryer, flat iron and a fairy hair stylist. It's really brilliant when I come across hair care styling products that are able to help take my style from go-to to glam.

The commercials for the Conair Quick Twist have always made trendy twisted styles look effortless. Here's the info on ways to sport a new twist on your style with creative twist braid hairstyles. Using the new Conair Quick Twist hair styling tool, take your hair from everyday to embellished as you twist and accessorize in a matter of minutes. FYI- there are small parts included and the recommended age for use of the Quick Twist styler is 6 years of age and older.


3 Steps to Styles with Conair Quick Twist

Step 1- Separate and comb smooth a 2 inch section of hair (smaller for smaller twisty braids) and raise clasp to secure ends of hair into place in the styler. Repeat for second strand.

Step 2- Slide the button up to turn on the Quick Twist styler to automatically twist the two strands all the way up. Be careful not to over-twist the hair strands too tightly.

Step 3- Rotate the top of the Quick Twist styler in the direction of the indicator arrow to twist the strands together, for either loose 
or tighter twisty braids.

Twisty Braided Hair Headband

- Brush hair smooth to remove any tangles.
- Separate a 4-inch square section of hair from behind one or both ears.
- Divide each square into two sections, then divide each section in half again and Quick Twist as described above.
- Include a stylish ribbon to the root of hair and gently wrap around twisty braid from root to end, securing with a mini elastic band.
- Bring each of the twisty braids across the top of head to opposite side and secure with bobby pins just behind ear to create the Twisty Hair Headband.
- Secure with bobby pins and accessorize with hair clips throughout hair as desired.



Playful Pigtails

- Brush hair smooth to remove any tangles.
- Part hair straight down the center of head.
- Take small sections from hair to Quick Twist as described above. Approximately 4 to 6 twisty braids per side.
- Divide hair in half, including twisty braids and secure Playful Pigtails on each side with a hair elastic band.
Accessorize with hair clips throughout hair as desired.


Ribbon Accented Twisty Braids

- Brush hair smooth to remove any tangles
- Separate a 1 inch section of hair attach an accessory ribbon at roots of section using a hair clip.
- Quick Twist the hair and the ribbon together as described above creating multiple twisty braids.

- Accessorize with hair clips throughout hair as desired.

To get a Wrapped Ribbon Style- Attach a ribbon to roots of section. Quick Twist hair strands without including the ribbon into hair. Secure the twisty braid with an elastic band, then gently wrap ribbon around twisty braid from top to bottom in a cascading motion.


Twisty Glamour Bun

- Brush hair smooth to remove any tangles.
- Separate hair along natural part
- Gather a 2-inch section of hair on each side of your face.
- Quick Twist each section as described above.
- Gently bring both twisty braids back into a low bun in the back or to either side of your head.
Accessorize with hair clips throughout hair as desired.


Dressed Up Party Bun

- Brush hair smooth to remove any tangles.
- Part hair straight down the center of head.
- Separate the top section of hair (from crown to roots) and pin to top of head.
- Secure the remainder of hair into a bun.
- Separate smaller sections from hair pinned up and Quick Twist as described above, desired amount of twisty braids. Approximately a total of 6 twisty braids.
- Creatively weave all twisty braids into and around  the bun. Securing with bobby pins and hair clips.
Accessorize with hair clips throughout hair as desired.
