Making Music and Moves Licensed to Move Tour with the Imagination Movers

If put to the challenge, I would sing for my supper. Whether or not I would be fed, well, that's another story. Strongly supportive of an inclusive education, music is an integral part of the learning process. The learning process begins at birth and continues to develop as we develop throughout our lives. Live performances of music has the power to bring us together and get us moving. We're so excited to announce that one of our favorite bands, the Imagination Movers from Disney Junior will be making music and moves, appearing live on the big stage in their Licensed to Move Tour, and hopefully you will have the chance to sing-a-long with them!

If there are little movers and shakers in your home, then chances are that the Imagination Movers are big time family faves. Mover Rich, Mover Scott, Mover Dave, and Mover Smitty and their energetic, family-friendly, pop/rock music performances and Emmy award-winning Disney Junior TV series are known by countless fans worldwide.

The Movers have been described as "the Red Hot Chili Peppers meets Blue Man Group for kids" thanks to their combination of joyful rock abandon and family-friendly visual spectacle (think giant balloons, confetti ... and flying toilet paper). They will delight the entire family with their motto of “reach high, think big, work hard, have fun!”

Fan and family favorites, The Movers have entertained more than a million fans in North America, Europe, and Asia. Venues such as Disney World, Sesame Place, Sea World, Hershey Park, NYC, the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Austin City Limits Festival, the Imagination Movers have appeared on national morning TV programs and have even performed at the White House.

Making music and moves since 2003, the Imagination Movers have just celebrated their ninth release, “Licensed to Move,” which debuted in early 2015. Available for purchase, their new CD includes the special bonus DVD containing a live concert performance as well as music videos. Look for updates from the Imagination Movers, they are currently developing a new animated series, “Super Movers” in partnership with Toronto-based 9 Story Media Group to be released soon.

The Imagination Movers will be performing, making music and moves in New York City on March 12 and Huntington, Long Island on March 13.
