Just one word. After taking my typical, last minute, harried and hurried moment to enjoy (yes, I have learned to find pleasure in the midst of frenzy) reading Bev Feldman's newly released, The Busy Mom's Guide to Creativity rendered one word as my takeaway. Unlike any other eBook, Bev has created a workbook that honestly got my attention. I had to stop picking the breading off of my son's close-to-frozen-again mozzerella sticks to devote my full attention to myself and my a-ha moment brought this one word to mind. Inspiring.
I have asked myself this questions countless times. How do real-life moms, kinda, sorta, like myself make time for their creative interests? Having just read The Busy Mom’s Guide to Creativity, A Self-Care Workbook to Help You to Make Time for Your Creative Interests, the inspiring message has motivated me to start making time for me! There is no reason to ever feel any mommy guilt over making self-care a priority. With all that we do, have to do and have done, creative expression is an entitlement. For many of us, creativiy is a coping skill to distract us from binge watching Thomas the Tank Engine alone at midnight.
Inspiring moms to explore their creativity, author Bev Feldman explains, "My hope is that through The Busy Mom's Guide as both an eBook, as well as a physical book, I can make it more accessible to more moms." The Busy Mom’s Guide is your go-to guide and a useful tool for reconnecting and making time in our overwhelming schedules to find and do those things that make us happy. I have an attic full of art supplies belonging to the person that I once was. It's time to reclaim my creativity and my supplies. MINE!
The conversational flow of The Busy Mom's Guide to Creativity reads as getting inspiring advice from your bestie over a cup of coffee. Not only have I reevaluated what makes me happy, I have taken Bev's advice and downloaded a winner app for time management and to increase productivity. Make time for yourself, read The Busy Mom’s Guide to Creativity, A Self-Care Workbook today.
