My memories of my Saturday mornings at dance classes are such treasured moments. All of the black leotards and tight and my beloved dance bag full of scuffed up ballet slippers, shiny tap shoes and always a favorite snack for refueling in-between classes. Seeing my daughter as she began her experiences as a tiny dancer created such fond memories for both of us. Seeing young girls strive with passion and dedication to fulfill their dreams and create their own reality is such an empowering movement. Having recently read the new book, Sally Loves...to Dance this positive, encouraging story of dedication is a great example of girl empowerment to share with your favorite little dancers.
