MINI USA + BBC ICECREAM = 100 Percent Proceeds to Polar Bears International

There's no keeping chill when we take note of the fact that according to studies, Antarctica is losing approximately 150 billion tons of ice each year. These icescapes are essential elements within polar bear habitats. Research conducted by Polar Bears International reveals that "scientists predict that if greenhouse gas emissions continue at the current rate, most polar bears could disappear by the year 2100 due to lack of sea ice." Not cool.
MINI USA and ICECREAM, a spin-off of Pharrell Williams and Nigo’s iconic brand, Billionaire Boys Club (BBC), teamed up to celebrate the launch of the new MINI Electric in Nanuq White. This collaboration brings forth an exclusive earth-conscious capsule collection where MINI USA + BBC ICECREAM equals one hundred percent of the proceeds at checkout will be donated to Polar Bears International.

MINI USA + BBC ICECREAM = 100 Percent Proceeds to Polar Bears International

Merging for a powerhouse partnership, one hundred percent of the proceeds at checkout will be donated to Polar Bears International and their education and outreach efforts toward saving the polar bears and the arctic region. Polar Bears International is highly regarded for their activism raising awareness to urgent threats to the Arctic's future and our global climate.

Partnering for a shared polar bear advocacy initiative, MINI USA collaborated with Polar Bears International previously in recognition of Arctic Sea Ice Day, encouraging American audiences to consider eco-adopting a polar bear via donations to Polar Bears International.

The MINI SE Electric now features exclusive the Nanuq White color, inspired by MINI brand’s polar bear mascot, Nanuq, and selected by customers feedback from ongoing campaigns in support of Polar Bears International.

“MINI is always looking to find impactful and unconventional ways to affect positive change in the world, especially when it comes to sustainability,” said Rah Mahtani, head of brand communications at MINI USA. “It is why we are pleased to partner with ICECREAM and NTWRK to amplify the environmental advocacy of Polar Bears International in a fun and exclusive way.”

Trendy brand ICECREAMsub-label of Pharrell Williams and Nigo’s streetwear brand Billionaire Boys Club, is dedicated to global giving backs in alignment with relevant causes. Raising awareness to the plight of polar bears is evident through their thematic collection designed to start conversations and actions toward supporting the collapsing arctic in the face of climate change.

"From day one, BBC ICECREAM has been focused on inspiring others in positive ways. This partnership is no different, we are very excited to be able to share this vision of a sustainable future and use our collective platform to further drive this message, together with MINI USA & NTWRK,” says BBC ICECREAM Creative Director, Joseph Au.

In this case, it’s ensuring a future for polar bears with the help of Polar Bears International, who's doing just that," NTWRK CEO Aaron Levant says.
