What has the most influence over your life? Influencers are finding ways to gain access to our choices every day. When it comes to having the power to affect the decisions of others as a result of authority, knowledge, position, or a relationship, influencers are often seen as being trustworthy. What is an influencer? We have many different types of influences in our lives, especially as social media has become such a huge part of today's culture. Relevant to the rise of the influencer, we had the privilege of partnering with Pure Flix for an advanced screening of Divine Influencer, a timely movie showing how the world of social media can easily influence the need to live life for the likes, the shares, and the joy of reading the comments. Taking a deeper dive, this movie helps to demonstrate the true power of an influencer.

In comparison, celebrities, artists, athletes, and pop culture icons, industry experts in business, fashion, beauty, or fitness, can be considered influencers. Connecting to a captivated audience of adoring fans, in Divine Influencer we meet Olivia, a social media influencer, living her best life.

Life often teaches us just how quickly our circumstances can change. Suddenly in need of a home, income, and a true friend, Olivia's perfect world launches into a downward spiral. Hardship proves to be a humbling experience for Olivia as discovers the grace of a second chance and the true power of an influencer.
