Watch Out for Weirdly Wonderful Wednesday

Mysterious and spooky... If you're a fan of quirky and mysteriously dark comedies with an eerie, spooky vibe, then Wednesday, the series is precisely what you're looking for. Based on the character, Wednesday Addams, solemn daughter of the iconic Addams Family, the series is streaming on Netflix and definitely worth a binge. I'll be first to admit that I only vaguely know anything about the original Addams Family series (the theme song is legendary), and I will never miss the moment to watch any of The Addams Family movies. Reeling me in with the infamously goth Tim Burton style, Wednesday was a must-see for me as soon as the first episode was available. They're creepy and they're kooky. Watch out for weirdly wonderful Wednesday, and the rest of the Addams family in this most dreadfully captivating Netflix series.

Wednesday: The Complete First Season

“Wednesday” is a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy. Wednesday's attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago — all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore.

Tim Burton plus Jenna Ortega equal a weirdly wonderful Wednesday series masterfully destined to shine in the darkness. Our family anxiously awaited the dismal occasion we would be able to finally watch the series. Spoilers all too soon revealed the internet sensation of Wednesday's maniacal dance moves. 

We thoroughly enjoyed every dreary moment and I sort of mastered Wednesday's dance choreography. From the creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar (Smallville), and director Tim Burton (The Nightmare Before Christmas, Beetlejuice), Season One of Wednesday features-
