Inspiring Book Teaching Young Learners to Say Yes to No Bad Days

"There are no "bad" days, only hard days," explains JT Mestdagh. As I quietly consider this perspective, I remember one difficult  day when I became suddenly and extremely ill while at home with my children. It was humbling to see my children stand by helplessly as I weakly struggled to crawl my way up the staircase. Wholeheartedly, I would have considered this to have been a bad day. It was a challenging time for me to be mindful to feel grateful every day, without toxic positivity. I was also allowed to experience the love and empathy of my children. As I reconsider this moment, I can agree that this was a hard day and not necessarily a bad day.
Reading (and journaling) through the newly released edition of the book- No Bad Days Adapted for Young Readers guides us toward a more inspirational point of view. Let's take a look at the inspiring new book teaching young learners to say yes to No Bad Days.

Being able to find books for young (and not-so-young) readers that are able to personally connect with our lives is a meaningful gift. In reading No Bad Days, we are guided along to discover paths to create and share personal narratives, ways to be and find friends, and skills useful for creating an identity filled with valuable memories to treasure always.

Here is where I feel most seen. My need to write notes in motivational books is celebrated and directed in No Bad Bays. Completing a wholesome framework for personal empowerment, the book wraps up with blank, lined pages for chapter-specific journal prompts. Bringing the messaging full circle, to have space to journal personal reflections on each chapter creates the dynamic necessary for a deeper connection with No Bad Days.

Allowing ourselves time and space to nurture our physical, mental, and emotional health is an essential factor in balancing our good and not-so-good (or simply bad) days. In addition, a few other useful resources we can all encompass the No Bad Days vision include-

- Breathing Techniques
- Movement + Fitness
- Outdoor Observations
- Creative Expression
- Stretch + Relax
- Music Appreciation
- Petting Pets
